Everyone loves cats...right?  The "ship's cat" has been a common feature on many trading, exploration, and naval ships, dating back centuries. Cats have been carried on ships for many reasons, the most important being to catch mice and rats. Or, maybe because they were just good for morale on long, tedious journeys.

A pleasant pet profile, feed the cat, make it purr, call it to the bridge, you're the boss (arguably). Just remember, cats only respond with "MEOW" - Over a 100 different ways. Likes to purr when it is happy too ;)
