License

Plain-English overview (the full EULA below controls):

When you buy an HCS VoicePack, you are purchasing a personal license to use professionally recorded audio for your own gameplay and simulation. The licensed audio is the product.

VoiceAttack profiles (.vap), scripts, and other companion files may be included to enable use of the audio, but they are supporting materials only. They carry no independent license rights and are not the product being sold.

You may not share, resell, redistribute, extract, modify, train AI on, or use the audio or companion materials with unlicensed third-party tools or commercial products.

Streaming or recording gameplay that incidentally includes HCS audio is permitted. Republishing, extracting, or distributing the audio itself is not.

Any paid or donation-funded product that is specifically designed to work with HCS VoicePacks must hold the appropriate VoiceAttack commercial license and must also obtain written permission from HCS VoicePacks.

In short: personal use is welcome; commercial, redistributive, or copycat use is not.

HCS VoicePacks – End User License Agreement (EULA)

Effective date: 21 January 2026

(Supersedes all prior end-user license versions)

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal contract between HCS VoicePacks Ltd (“HCS”, “we”, “us”) and you (“you”, “Licensee”).

By purchasing, downloading, installing, accessing, or using any HCS VoicePacks product, you agree to this Agreement.

If you do not agree, do not purchase, download, install, or use the product.

1. What you are buying

  • Licensed Audio Content. Your purchase grants you a license to use the audio files supplied by HCS (“Audio Content”). The Audio Content is licensed, not sold.
  • Companion Items. VoiceAttack profiles (.vap), scripts, plugins, and related tooling may be included as complimentary extras (“Companion Items”). Companion Items are provided as-is, may change over time, and are not the purchased product.
  • Third-party software not included. Games and third-party software are not included. HCS VoicePacks products are designed for use with the supported game(s) listed on the product page (“Supported Game(s)”) and typically with VoiceAttack. You must obtain and comply with those third-party licenses separately.

2. Definitions (plain English)

  • Account: Your HCS store and/or Hub login identity.
  • HCS Hub (“Hub”): HCS’s installer, downloader, entitlement, and library management software.
  • Licensed Materials: The Audio Content plus any Companion Items supplied by HCS.
  • Personal Use: Use by one individual for private entertainment or simulation.
  • Commercial Use: Any use that generates money or value, directly or indirectly, including sales, subscriptions, sponsorships, paid access, affiliate revenue, donations, tips, or paid services.
  • Third-Party Product: Any software, tool, or service not made by HCS, including apps, plugins, helpers, copilots, installers, launchers, overlays, or similar products.

3. License grant (what you’re allowed to do)

  • Personal, single-user license. HCS grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Licensed Materials for Personal Use only.
  • Supported context only. You may use the Licensed Materials only:

    with the Supported Game(s) you purchased them for;
    via VoiceAttack and/or the HCS Hub (and any official HCS integration paths);
on devices you own or control, for your own Personal Use.

  • Multiple PCs you own are fine; multiple people are not. You may install on your own machines, but the license is for one person only. Sharing accounts, files, or access is not permitted.

4. The HCS Hub

  • The Hub may be required to download, install, verify, repair, and update products.
  • The Hub may enforce entitlement checks and integrity validation.
  • We may update the Hub or Licensed Materials for compatibility, security, or licensing protection. Updates may change behaviour and are not guaranteed to preserve every prior feature indefinitely.

5. Restrictions (what you must NOT do)

  • No redistribution. You must not copy, share, upload, publish, sell, rent, lend, sublicense, gift, or otherwise distribute any Licensed Materials, in whole or in part.
  • No standalone audio usage. You must not use the Audio Content as a general-purpose sound library, soundboard, voiceover pack, or content asset outside the Supported Game(s) without written permission.
  • No modification of audio without permission. You must not edit, remix, extract, isolate, transform, or create derivative works from the Audio Content except for minor technical adjustments required for personal playback.
  • No reverse engineering or cloning. You must not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract logic or design from Companion Items or protected components.
  • No AI or dataset use. You must not use Licensed Materials to train, fine-tune, or build AI models, TTS systems, voice datasets, or similar technologies.

6. Companion Items (.vap profiles, scripts, plugins)

  • Companion Items are provided free of charge and as-is, without warranty.
  • You may customise your own local setup for Personal Use only.
  • You may not distribute Companion Items or replicate HCS command structures in competing products.

7. Third-party products designed to work with HCS VoicePacks

  • No unlicensed integration. You may not use HCS VoicePacks with any Third-Party Product that is designed, marketed, or configured to integrate with, trigger, bundle, scrape, or rely upon HCS VoicePacks unless that product’s developer has explicit written permission from HCS.
  • Commercial third-party tools. If a Third-Party Product is commercial (including donations or paid access) and designed to work with VoiceAttack, the developer must:

hold the appropriate VoiceAttack commercial license; and
obtain separate written permission from HCS.

If they do not, use of HCS VoicePacks with that product is unlicensed. It is the developer’s responsibility to inform their users.
  • Support refusal. HCS may refuse support where issues arise from unlicensed integrations, modified installs, or environments designed to bypass licensing controls.
  • (This does not restrict ordinary third-party software that merely coexists on your PC without integrating with HCS content.)

8. Streaming, reviews, and public content

  • Gameplay streaming and recording (including monetised channels) is allowed, provided:

Audio Content is heard only as part of gameplay or simulation; and
isolated or substitute audio redistribution is not provided.

  • Uploading standalone audio packs, soundboards, or competing content is prohibited.

9. Content advisory

Some voice packs contain strong language or fictional character viewpoints. These are performance elements and do not represent real-world endorsements. You are responsible for audience suitability.

10. Enforcement and termination

  • This Agreement remains in effect until terminated.
  • Breach of this Agreement automatically terminates your license.
  • We may suspend access, revoke entitlements, or block Hub access for serious breach, fraud, or chargeback abuse.

11. Chargebacks and disputes

  • Contact us first if you believe a transaction is incorrect.
  • Bad-faith chargebacks may result in account suspension, entitlement revocation, and recovery action.

12. Privacy and limited data sharing

We handle personal data under our Privacy Policy. Limited transaction or validation data may be shared with partners where necessary for fraud prevention or licensing enforcement.

13. Warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability

Licensed Materials are provided “as is” without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. HCS is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the amount paid.

14. Governing law

Unless mandatory local law states otherwise, this Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.

Plain-English summary (non-binding): When you buy an HCS VoicePack, you’re buying a personal license to use professionally recorded audio for your own gameplay/simulation. Don’t share or redistribute it, don’t train AI on it, and don’t use it with unlicensed third-party tools built to work with it. Streaming gameplay is fine; republishing standalone audio isn’t.
