DARK v2 (Remastered) - Elite Dangerous Voice Pack, includes FULL Codex audio

Dark returns! Refined, expanded, and rebuilt for commanders who want context, clarity, and control.

This new edition of Dark features remastered audio quality, a vastly expanded knowledge base, and full Codex integration, allowing you to access Elite Dangerous lore hands-free, in flight, or at rest. Every Codex entry has been carefully produced and directed, transforming static text into a living, narrated archive of the entire story within the Elite Dangerous Codex. Hours and hours of fully narrated Codex entries.

VoiceAttack is the engine.
It is the software that drives every HCS VoicePack. Dark is your science officer, running inside VoiceAttack alongside any other HCS VoicePacks you own.

  • Full Codex audio: hours of narrated Codex entries, on demand
  • Codex Hub: open the Codex, navigate its sections and hear entries by voice
  • Remastered: rebuilt audio and a refined performance
  • Instant access: download and install through the HCS Hub

The Codex Hub introduces a structured voice-driven system that lets you open the Codex, navigate its sections, and have entries read aloud on demand. From major factions and ancient civilizations to conflicts, societies, and historical records, Dark delivers the information clearly, calmly, and without breaking immersion.

This is not a tutorial voice.
This is a science officer: precise, composed, and authoritative.

Key Features

  • Narrated Codex Experience: the Elite Dangerous Codex is transformed into a guided narrative, with every entry introduced, paced, and concluded for natural listening.
  • Audiobook-Style Direction: this is not a read-along. Delivery, speed, and emphasis are deliberately directed, creating a composed, authored experience.
  • Dark: Remastered (V2): the original Dark voice pack has been fully rebuilt with improved audio quality and refined performance to match the Codex narration standard.
  • Independent, On-Demand Knowledge: any Codex entry can be accessed in any order and understood in isolation, no prior context required.
  • A New Way to Experience the Universe: Dark serves as both ship’s science officer and narrative guide, allowing you to listen to the galaxy as you fly, explore, and travel.

Designed for Commanders Who Want More Than Buttons

The Codex Hub turns Elite Dangerous lore into an audio-first experience, ideal for players who want deeper understanding without stopping to read panels or menus. Whether you’re discovering the galaxy for the first time or revisiting its history, Dark is there to provide context when you ask for it, and silence when you don’t.

This is Dark, evolved.
